My nice relaxing day was interrupted with an incredibly irritating disturbance. Now I am in a really grumpy mood, but I am trying not to spoil the day more for myself by staying grumpy. I’m going grab my pipe, go for a walk, and find a little patch of sunshine to blaze in.

Had a really great morning with Courtenay and her dad. I’m home and super full from an amazing breakfast so I think now I’m going get baked and quite possibly have a nap. Or just sit around and watch more anime on Netflix. I’m going to be lazy though, that’s for sure.

Today one of my best friends got on a plane and moved to Australia. I’m so happy and excited for them but I am also very sad because I’m going to miss them a lot. Well, I suppose this means I ought to start a savings account for my trip to visit!

I’ve got a busy day ahead of me but at least it’s my Friday. My sister had her baby yesterday so I’m required to drop in for a quick visit before work today. Vet called me this morning to say that Haku was feeling a lot better and that he was eating again. If he manages to keep his food down I can bring him home tonight :)

The vet just called. The ultrasound looked good, there didn’t seem to be anything blocking his intestines but apparently some of his muscles are showing signs of thickening, and that might mean he could have inflammatory bowel disease. So the good news is that he doesn’t need to have surgery, but they are going to keep him until tomorrow night to monitor him and see if they can get him...
